Pompey Women have confirmed the acquisition of goalkeeper Jess Gray on a 12-month deal, featuring an optional extension for a further year at the club’s discretion.
The 24-year-old keeper featured seven times for The Addicks during the previous campaign and progressed through London City Lionesses’ youth development system.
Gray spent a couple of seasons with the Lionesses before making the switch to Billericay Town at the beginning of the 2022/23 campaign.
Manager Jay Sadler commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Jess to Pompey. She’s a keeper who brings genuine physical presence and arrives with established credentials at this standard.
“Jess possesses enormous scope for development, and we’re certain she’ll provide consistency and resilience in the goalkeeping department.”
The news came after the recent signing of Jazz Bull by Pompey Women.
