Pompey Women Host Lewes in FA Women’s Cup Final Group Match

14‑Year‑Old Arrested Over June E‑Scooter Collision in Fleet
Police arrested a 14‑year‑old boy from Fleet on 25 September following a serious e‑scooter collision in Calthorpe Park on 20 June. The incident left a four‑year‑old girl with a serious head injury, later fully recovered. The teenager is held on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without a licence, lacking insurance and failing to report the accident.
Man jailed for six years for historic child sex offences
A 43‑year‑old man was sentenced at Southampton Crown Court to six years’ imprisonment for child sex offences. He pleaded guilty to two counts of indecent assault on a male under‑13 and sexual activity with child, offences from 2002 to 2005. He remains on sexual harm prevention order and will serve six years on licence release.
Man arrested in Aldershot sexual assault case
Police investigating a sexual assault on Alison’s Road in Aldershot on 11 July, when a woman in her 30s was kissed, hair‑pulled and punched, sustaining a broken finger, concussion and bruises. A 29‑year‑old Aldershot man was arrested on 24 September on suspicion of sexual assault and wounding without intent and is bailed pending enquiries.
