Pompey Academy and Barnet Share 3-3 Draw
Pompey Academy led 2-0 after goals from Elisha Pfupa and a second strike, but Barnet equalised with two penalties before Brandon Downey converted a spot‑kick for the Blues. Barnet scored a late penalty to finish level, leaving both sides with one point.
Pompey Draw 2-2 with Blackburn at Fratton Park
Portsmouth secured a 2-2 draw in the Championship after conceding a late equaliser at Fratton Park. Zak Swanson opened the scoring for the home side, but Dapo Afolayan responded quickly for Blackburn. In the second half Ryoya Morishita put the visitors ahead, only for substitute Colby Bishop to level the scores for Pompey. Both teams shared the points after a closely contested match.

Dog bites toddler in Shirley Precinct, police seek witnesses
Police were called to Shirley Precinct in Southampton at about 3.20pm on 21 August after a German Shepherd, wearing a mesh muzzle, lunged and bit a one‑year‑old boy in a pushchair, causing two puncture wounds. The child was taken to hospital and officers are now seeking a female witness.
54‑year‑old Charged with Violent Disorder in Eastney Protest
Nigel Wylie, 54, of Redbridge Grove, Havant, was charged with violent disorder following a public disorder incident at an Eastney protest on 6 September. He appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on 19 September and was remanded in custody. Wylie is due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on 23 September.
Missing 53‑year‑old Zackary Young last seen in Havant
Zackary Young, 53, from Hayling Island, was reported missing after being seen in Havant at about 9 pm on 18 September. He is described as a white, bald, stocky man, 5 ft 4 ins tall, heavily tattooed with a large cross on his face. Police urge anyone with information to contact 999, quoting reference 44260458680.
