Pompey Women rally to win FAWNL Cup Group F
Pompey Women overturned a 2-0 deficit to beat Lewes 3-2 and claim Group F of the FA Women’s National League Cup. Esta Roberts opened the comeback three minutes after halftime, Arabella Suttie earned a penalty for Kerry Beattie, who then scored the winning goal with a chipped finish in the 79th minute.
Pompey Tickets for Wolves Fixture Go On Sale
Portsmouth FC announced that tickets for the rearranged Championship away game at Wolves will be available from 5pm on Monday 19 October. The match is scheduled for Tuesday 20 October at 7.45pm, with over 2,000 standing seats allocated. Purchases require a Client ID and are non‑refundable.

Man Assaulted and Racially Abused on Twyford Avenue
Police are seeking information about a racially aggravated public order and assault that occurred on 27 September around 11 pm on Twyford Avenue, Portsmouth. A 32‑year‑old man was attacked, suffered head and arm injuries, was hospitalised and later discharged, and his shoe was reported stolen. Officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant footage.
Man to appear via videolink over Channel boat damage
Daniel Thomas, 37, was charged with criminal damage and an offence under section 53 of Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act after a boat was damaged in English Channel on 22 September. He pleaded not guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on 25 September and will appear via videolink at Portsmouth Crown Court on 29 September.
Six arrested after Andover drug raids
Police executed warrants at properties on Galahad Close and Constantine Square in Andover on Monday 28 September. Six people – four men aged 20, 26, 28 and 36, a 23‑year‑old woman and a 29‑year‑old man – were detained for supplying Class A drugs, the man suspected of facilitating travel for exploitation. All remain in custody.
