Pompey Host Dutch Side in First Home Match Since May

Portsmouth welcome PEC Zwolle to Fratton Park on Saturday afternoon for their first home fixture since May, with the Dutch outfit visiting for a 3pm pre-season friendly kick-off.

Here’s everything supporters need to know for matchday.

FanZone Activities

The FanZone opens from noon with a resident DJ providing entertainment ahead of kick-off.

Supporters can browse the retail outlet or visit the Anson Road club shop for merchandise, including the newly released away strip.

The Victory Suite opens at midday, though the bar operates only before the match begins.

Catering Options

Kiosks will stock the standard range from Piglet’s Pantry, featuring pies, sausage rolls and various treats, plus vegan rainbow rolls and Bombay potato pies. This fixture’s special offering is chicken and sweetcorn pie.

Every kiosk serves bacon cheeseburgers and tomato soup, alongside gluten-free alternatives including hot dogs, soup, crisps and Peroni.

Young fans can buy a children’s meal box from kiosks 3, 17 and the Victory Suite for £6.50, containing a sausage roll, Pompey gingerbread biscuit, fresh fruit and apple or orange juice.

The first FanZone container serves hot honey chicken burgers, American-style double cheeseburgers and aloo tikki vegan burgers.

The second container offers lamb kofta flatbreads, Mediterranean vegetable flatbreads, pastries, cakes and coffee, plus the 18-inch red onion chutney sausage roll and regular draught beverages. This season introduces loaded hot dogs with classic, chilli cheese or BBQ beef brisket toppings.

Victory Suite patrons can enjoy chicken katsu curry, cheese and bacon turnovers, plus award-winning pies and sausage rolls served with mash, peas and gravy.

Ticket Information

Fratton End and North Lower seating remains available online or from the ticket office.

Advance purchase is recommended as prices increase on matchday. Tickets can be bought Saturday from either the ticket office or Fratton End booth.

Download e-tickets to your phone before arriving to ensure swift entry. Those buying for others must distribute tickets beforehand.

Early arrival is advised to avoid queues near kick-off time.

Match tickets are required for entry – season tickets don’t provide access to this friendly.

Non-attending supporters can purchase a match pass through Pompey+ to stream the action, including pre-match coverage.

Travel Information

Portsmouth has partnered with First Solent, with supporters able to use First South’s No.1 service for direct transport to Fratton Park.

Isle of Wight residents should check Wightlink services for cross-water travel.

Cyclists can use bike racks in the south-west and north-west ground corners, or perimeter fencing within the car park after consulting stewards.

Train travellers should verify services beforehand for potential delays. The footbridge connecting Fratton station to Goldsmith Avenue has reopened following extensive repairs.

Additional Details

Fratton Park operates cashless payment systems exclusively – only contactless methods accepted.

No programme will be sold for this fixture, though the club commits to producing them for competitive matches throughout the campaign.

Recycling facilities are available to help supporters dispose of waste correctly:

  • Green bins – Recyclable materials (plastic bottles, cans, paper)
  • Black bins – General waste (non-recyclable food wrappers)
  • Blue bins – Food waste exclusively

Proper bin usage reduces waste, lowers carbon emissions and contributes to Portsmouth’s environmental wellbeing.

All supporters are reminded that discrimination of any form will not be tolerated at Fratton Park.

Help maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere by reporting unacceptable behaviour to stewards and police.

Abusive or discriminatory conduct can be reported via text or WhatsApp to 07500 778844 or directly to Kick It Out.
