Portsmouth have secured the services of Florian Bianchini on a season-long loan arrangement from Championship rivals Swansea City, pending international clearance. The 24-year-old French striker previously faced his new side twice last season.
The French attacker, aged 24, appeared in both encounters when the Welsh side met his new club during the previous campaign.
Pompey manager John Mousinho commented: “Florian is an incredibly exciting talent who featured regularly in attack for Swansea.
“We envisage utilising him predominantly on the flanks, where he can exploit his speed to challenge defenders in individual duels.
“He was amongst the most thrilling performers in the division whilst at Bastia prior to his move to join Swansea.
“Therefore, we’re confident Florian has plenty to contribute to our squad, and we’re thrilled to strengthen our forward line with his addition.”
Bianchini – capped at France Under-19 level – launched his professional journey in his native country with Amiens.
He subsequently turned out for Bastia before making the move across the English Channel to pen a four-year contract with Swansea last summer.
The forward registered 38 outings for the Swans during the 2025/26 season, finding the net in Championship fixtures against Oxford, Leeds, and Sheffield United.
