SailGP Returns to Portsmouth This Weekend with Park & Ride

High-speed catamaran racing returns to Portsmouth as SailGP takes place on 19-20 July, with convenient Park & Ride services available to help spectators reach Southsea’s race zone without the usual parking hassles and traffic stress.

Visitors travelling from outside Portsmouth can dodge traffic congestion and parking woes by using the PR3 Park & Ride weekend service to Southsea. Simply park your car and board the bus for a hassle-free journey straight to the racing action.

The service drops passengers at Clarence Pier, providing easy access to the race zone where a dozen nations will compete in the UK round of this thrilling high-speed sailing championship.

Day tickets for the park and ride service cost £4 per vehicle, accommodating up to five passengers. Tickets can be purchased through the First Bus mobile app or directly from the bus driver on the day.

  • First departure: 9:35am
  • Final return journey: 7:26pm
  • Please note: Overnight parking is not permitted at the park and ride facility
