Police have released CCTV images of two men they wish to speak to regarding shoplifting incidents at B&Q in Hedge End involving items worth over £1,400.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary is appealing for information following two separate incidents at the DIY store on Charles Watts Way.
The first incident took place on Wednesday 7 May between 6:50pm and 7:05pm, when suspects allegedly attempted to steal garden and bathroom items including a hot tub, barbecue, and shower pump with a total value of £1,099.
A second theft occurred on Friday 9 May between 10:25am and 10:40am, during which a Salamander shower pump worth £349 was reportedly stolen.
First Suspect
- White male
- Approximately 40 years old
- Around 6ft in height
- Clean-shaven appearance
- Distinctive tattoo on right arm
- Wore light grey cap, black Emporio Armani T-shirt, black jogging bottoms and black trainers
- Seen with black Ford Transit van
Second Suspect
- White male
- Approximately 35 years old
- Around 6ft tall
- Short brown hair and beard
- Tattoos visible on left leg and arms
- Dressed in black T-shirt, black shorts, black gilet and black trainers with white trim
- Also associated with black Ford Transit van
Officers believe the men captured in the CCTV footage can assist with their enquiries and are urging them to come forward. Anyone who recognises the individuals or witnessed suspicious activity in the area during the specified times is asked to contact police.
