A 23-year-old man has been sentenced to three months in prison after causing over £2,500 damage to police vehicles outside Aldershot Police Station by slashing tyres.
Lefter Hasa, of Upperton Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex, damaged seven police cars by slashing 20 tyres outside the station on 13th November last year.
Following his arrest, Hasa was charged with criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
The 23-year-old admitted guilt to the charge and received a three-month prison sentence for the Aldershot incident at Lewes Crown Court on Friday, 27th June.
Hasa received a total sentence of 16 months imprisonment after admitting to additional offences committed in East Sussex.

Detective Constable Chloe Walker, from Hart and Rushmoor CID, commented: “The senseless act of vandalising emergency service vehicles is incomprehensible and could significantly impact the public.
“This incident meant the vehicles had to be removed from service for repairs. Fortunately, the cars were fixed promptly, and we maintained our ability to respond to emergencies across the district.
“Such behaviour is unacceptable, and perpetrators will face robust action and prosecution through the courts.”
