A 26-year-old man remains in custody after police discovered approximately half a kilogram of suspected Class A drugs and over £10,000 in cash during an arrest in Aldershot on Monday evening.
Police were alerted at 10:30pm on Monday 16 June following reports of a suspected burglary at an empty property on Orchard Way. The property owner contacted authorities after discovering an intruder on the premises when checking the vacant address.

During a subsequent search, police seized approximately 500g of suspected Class A substances, a substantial quantity of cannabis, a bladed weapon, and more than £10,000 in cash.
A follow-up search of the property from which the man had fled revealed additional narcotics and drug-related equipment, all of which were confiscated by officers.
The suspect has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B controlled substances, carrying a knife or sharp object in a public area, and burglary with intent to steal.
