A 19-year-old Southampton man has been charged with drug offences following a police raid in Bitterne that uncovered a suspected drugs network operating across several areas of the city.
Police executed a search warrant at a property in Barry Road on Monday morning (June 16) as part of an ongoing investigation targeting drug supply activities across Thornhill, Bitterne and Sholing districts.
During the operation, officers arrested two individuals and recovered substantial amounts of cash alongside Class A controlled substances.

Following additional investigations throughout the day, authorities have now brought charges against one suspect, who appeared before Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning.
Clayton James Bunney-Grey, aged 19, from Sullivan Road, Southampton, faces charges of cocaine supply and possession of criminal property.
The second individual detained during the raid – a 19-year-old Southampton woman arrested on suspicion of Class A drug possession – has been released on police bail whilst investigations remain ongoing.
