Police have arrested a 34-year-old Portsmouth man who was wanted after failing to appear in court. Daniel Barnett has been located and remains in custody following a successful appeal.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary have confirmed today (15th June) that they have successfully located Daniel Barnett, who was sought after he failed to attend a court hearing.
Following an earlier appeal for information regarding Mr Barnett’s whereabouts, officers have now apprehended the Portsmouth resident.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary stated: “We are delighted to confirm that a 34-year-old man from Portsmouth has been arrested and is currently being held in custody.”
The arrest concludes the search for Mr Barnett, who had been wanted by police after his non-attendance at court proceedings.
