Pompey Women have announced the permanent signing of goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor, who returns to the club following her successful loan spell from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 20-year-old shot-stopper rejoins the Blues ahead of the 2025/26 season after impressing during the second half of the previous campaign.
Erhabor has penned a one-year contract with Portsmouth, which includes the club’s option for an additional 12 months.
The young goalkeeper initially signed her first professional contract with Brighton in January 2024 and gained valuable experience through loan spells at Hibernian and Plymouth Argyle before her move to Pompey.
Blues manager Jay Sadler expressed his delight at securing Erhabor’s services permanently: “We’re really pleased to welcome Comfort back to the club on a permanent deal.
“She’s a goalkeeper with real character, and she showed glimpses of her potential during her short loan spell with us last season.
“Comfort has all the tools to grow into a top goalkeeper, and her presence will bring healthy competition to our goalkeeping department.”
Pompey Women already signed Angelina Nixon, Lucy Johnson, Jess Gray, and Jazz Bull to strengthen their squad.
