Police have released CCTV images of two women they wish to speak to following a shoplifting incident at Co-op in High Street, West End, where £100 worth of goods were taken.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has issued an appeal to identify the two women captured on West End shoplifting CCTV footage in connection with the theft, which took place on Wednesday 1 October between 6pm and 6.10pm.
Officers report that approximately £100 worth of merchandise was stolen from the store, including coffee and laundry detergent products.
The two women pictured in the West End shoplifting CCTV images were seen leaving the premises in a white Peugeot van following the alleged theft.
Police are urging the women shown in the footage, or anyone who recognises them, to come forward to assist with their enquiries.
Investigators are also appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the incident. Anyone with relevant CCTV, mobile phone or dash cam footage is encouraged to contact the force.
