Police Appeal After Petersfield Golf Club Burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at Petersfield Golf Club on Monday 23 June, where thieves forced entry and stole trophies and silverware from a glass cabinet between 7pm and 11pm.

Officers are investigating the break-in at the club on Tankerdale Lane, which occurred during the evening hours. Criminals gained access by forcing entry to the front of the building before targeting a display cabinet containing various trophies and silverware items.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary are seeking assistance from the public and asking several key questions:

  • Did you see anything suspicious during the burglary?
  • Do you have any video evidence, such as doorbell cameras, CCTV footage, mobile phone recordings, or dash cam material that could help the investigation?
  • Are you aware of anyone attempting to sell trophies or silverware items?
