A 25-year-old man from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after police discovered suspected Class A drugs during a vehicle stop in Yateley yesterday morning.
Police officers observed suspicious behaviour involving a Ford Focus in Fleet at approximately 12.15am yesterday (1st July).
The vehicle was subsequently stopped on the A30 in Yateley, where suspicious circumstances prompted officers to conduct a search.
During the search, police discovered £675 in cash and a black sock containing eight packages of suspected Class A drugs. All items were confiscated.
The Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A controlled substance and possession of a Class A controlled drug.
He also faces arrest on suspicion of driving whilst over the specified limit for a controlled substance.
The individual has been released on bail with conditions whilst investigations continue.
