A 50-year-old man has been charged with stealing a car from a hotel and golf club car park in Kingsclere, Hampshire, following a police investigation lasting several months.
Shaun Dyke, of no fixed abode, faces a charge of theft of a motor vehicle after a Vauxhall Mokka was reported stolen from the Sandford Springs Hotel and Golf Club car park on 18 January 2025.
The vehicle was subsequently recovered by officers, who launched a formal investigation into the incident.
Dyke was arrested in the Alton area on Saturday, 17 May, in connection with the theft. He is due to appear before Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court today, Monday 19 May.
