Alan Christopher Bishop

Alan Christopher Bishop, who devoted 31 years to HM Royal Navy followed by 21 years with HM Coastguards, died peacefully on 22nd December 2025 at Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske, aged 79. He passed away following a prolonged battle with lung disease, with both daughters by his side.

Mr Bishop is survived by his wife Betty and remembered fondly as a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. His funeral service will take place at Portchester Crematorium, Fareham, Hampshire on Friday 23rd January 2026 at 2:30pm. The family has requested no formal dress code. Sonia Margaret Dalziel

Sonia Margaret Dalziel, born 31st August 1936, passed away peacefully on 25th December 2025, aged 89. She leaves behind a devoted family and numerous friends who will deeply miss her presence.

Linda Rose McDonald

Linda Rose McDonald died peacefully at Queen Alexandra Hospital on Saturday 20th December 2025, aged 71, following a short illness. She is survived by her husband John, daughter Ayshea, son Andrew, daughter-in-law Louise, and grandchildren Kaya, Kelsey, Alfie, Charlie, Jude, and Autumn, as well as her younger sister Irene Berry.

Mrs McDonald’s funeral service will take place at Portchester Crematorium on Tuesday 20th January 2026 at 2:15pm. The family has requested no flowers. Instead, donations to Dementia UK may be made through the online memorial page.

Anthony Mountifield

Anthony “Tony” Mountifield passed away suddenly at home on 17th December 2025, aged 90. His funeral service will be conducted at Portchester Crematorium, North Chapel on Monday 26th January 2026 at 10:30am. All are welcome to attend. Donations may be made to Blood Cancer UK.
