Police have released CCTV images following a shoplifting incident in Ryde where goods worth approximately £200 were stolen from Tesco Extra on Brading Road.
The theft occurred on Monday, 24 November, between 4.40pm and 5.30pm when a woman allegedly entered the store and departed without paying for items.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary are now seeking public assistance to identify a woman captured on CCTV who may help with enquiries into the shoplifting in Ryde CCTV investigation.
The woman is described as white, aged between 30 and 40 years old, with a slim build and shoulder-length straight red-brown hair. She was wearing a white fleecy hooded oversized jacket, blue jeans, black knee-length boots and red lipstick.
Officers are urging anyone who recognises the woman or witnessed suspicious activity in the area to contact police on 101, quoting reference 44250531411.
Authorities are particularly interested in obtaining CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell camera footage that could assist the investigation.
