Police have released CCTV images following a shoplifting incident at Sports Direct in Newport, where a woman allegedly left the store with two unpaid bottles of perfume on 19 November.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary is appealing for witnesses after the theft at the South Street branch between 1.55pm and 2.00pm.
Officers investigating the Newport shoplifting CCTV case have shared an image of a woman they believe could assist with enquiries.
The woman is described as white, aged between 18 and 30, with blonde hair showing dark roots. She was wearing a maroon jacket, black leggings and Superdry sliders at the time of the incident.
Police are urging anyone who recognises the woman or witnessed suspicious activity in the area to come forward. Investigators are particularly keen to obtain any CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell camera footage that may help with the investigation.
