Police Seek Man Over Park Gate Shop Thefts

Hampshire Police have issued CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to following three shoplifting incidents in Park Gate during September and October. Groceries worth £400 were stolen from local stores on Bridge Road.

Investigators are seeking information about a man captured on CCTV in connection with theft offences at three Bridge Road retailers. The incidents occurred at Marks & Spencer, Co-op and Sainsbury’s during the autumn months.

The first reported theft took place at Marks & Spencer between 7.25am and 7.30am on Saturday, 13 September. Subsequently, two additional thefts were reported at the Co-op and Sainsbury’s stores, also located on Bridge Road.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary believe the individual shown in the released images can assist with their enquiries. Officers are appealing to the man himself, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

Witnesses who may have observed suspicious activity in the vicinity during the relevant times are also urged to contact police. Additionally, anyone with CCTV footage, mobile phone recordings or dash cam material that could support the investigation should report it.
