Appeal for Witnesses After Drayton Burglary

Police are seeking witnesses following a burglary at a vacant building on Havant Road, Drayton, where copper pipes and radiators were stolen between 16-30 August.

Hampshire Police received a report on 30 August regarding the break-in at the empty property near East Cosham Road. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime during the two-week period.

Thieves targeted the building’s copper piping and heating radiators during the burglary.

Following the initial report, police have launched enquiries into the incident and are now asking members of the public to come forward with any relevant information.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour in the vicinity during the timeframe in question.

Residents and motorists are being asked to check any CCTV recordings, dashcam footage, or doorbell camera material that might assist with the investigation.
