Man jailed for breaching Criminal Behaviour Order

A 28-year-old man has been sentenced to 24 weeks in prison after breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order that prohibited him from entering large areas of northern Hampshire.

Daniel Jankovic, who has no fixed address, received the Criminal Behaviour Order in April this year, which restricted his access to significant portions of northern Hampshire.

The 28-year-old was apprehended in Basingstoke on two separate occasions – 23rd August and 28th August – before being arrested and charged with two counts of violating his Criminal Behaviour Order.

Jankovic appeared before Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on 29th August, where he entered guilty pleas to both charges. The court sentenced him to 24 weeks’ imprisonment for the offences.
