Police are seeking witnesses following an assault on a teenager in Ryde on Friday evening, where a car mounted the pavement and drove towards two boys.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:20pm on Friday, 29th August, at the junction of West Street and Adelaide Place. Two teenage boys were present when a vehicle carrying five men drove onto the pavement in their direction.
A 15-year-old boy was attacked by one of the occupants during the incident. The car then drove away at speed along West Street before stopping in Pell Lane, where one man exited the vehicle.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are asking anyone who was in the vicinity during the time of the incident to come forward. Officers are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have captured CCTV footage, dashcam recordings, or doorbell camera footage that could help with their investigation.
