Police are searching for missing 16-year-old Maggie from Basingstoke, last seen yesterday at 2:30pm. Officers believe she may have travelled by train towards Cumbria and are concerned for her welfare.
The teenager was last spotted in Basingstoke on 30 July and police suspect she has taken a train journey heading towards the Cumbria region.
Hampshire Constabulary has issued an urgent appeal for information regarding Maggie’s whereabouts and is asking members of the public to come forward if they have seen her or have any details that might help officers locate her.
Maggie is described as:
- White
- 5ft 5ins in height
- Slim build
- Wears glasses
- Short brown hair
- Last seen wearing a black top, black short skirt and carrying a black rucksack
Police are urging anyone with information about Maggie’s location to contact them immediately on 101, quoting reference number 44250342424.
In an emergency situation, members of the public should dial 999.
