A 38-year-old Southampton man has been charged with aggravated burglary following an incident in Shirley early Sunday morning. Stuart Baldock was remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court.
Police were alerted at approximately 1:30am on Sunday 13 July to reports of a burglary taking place in Shirley.
Officers responded to the scene and arrested Stuart Baldock, of Landguard Road, Southampton, on suspicion of aggravated burglary and possession of a knife or sharp pointed article.
Following his arrest, Baldock has been formally charged with both offences. He was remanded in custody and appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning.
