Two Portsmouth residents have been arrested following burglary and vehicle tampering incidents in Botley on Monday morning, 7th July, with both suspects currently remaining in police custody.
Police have detained a 30-year-old Portsmouth man on suspicion of non-dwelling burglary with intent to steal and theft from a motor vehicle.
A 42-year-old Portsmouth woman was also arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
Both individuals were taken into custody on Wednesday afternoon, 9th July, and continue to be held by police at this time.
The arrests relate to reported incidents of burglary and vehicle interference that occurred in the Botley area on Monday morning.
