Clarence Street car park shuts for barrier work

Clarence Street car park will be temporarily shut on Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 July whilst a new exit barrier is installed. Motorists are advised to use Market Way car park as an alternative.

The car park will be closed for both days to ensure safety during the installation work. Warning signs will be displayed at all entrance points to inform drivers of the closure.

Motorists are encouraged to use Market Way car park instead, which has recently come under council management. This alternative location accepts both coin payments and RingGo for parking fees.

The temporary closure is necessary to complete the barrier installation safely without disrupting traffic flow in the surrounding area.
