Police release CCTV after Farnborough racial assault

Police have released CCTV footage seeking to identify a man following a racially motivated assault outside an ASDA store in Farnborough on 30 May, where a victim was pushed and abused.

Authorities are appealing for information to help identify a suspect captured on camera following an incident of assault and racial abuse in Farnborough.

The attack occurred just after 3pm on 30 May outside the ASDA store on Westmead, where a man in his 50s was approached by an unknown individual who shoulder-charged him before pushing him to the ground and subjecting him to racial abuse.

Hampshire Police have now released an image of the suspect and are urging anyone who recognises him to come forward as part of their ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information about the incident or who can identify the man in the photograph is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 44250236199.
