Portsmouth FC have brought back their legendary 1992 home jersey and matching track jacket, worn during the memorable FA Cup semi-final run against Liverpool, now available in limited quantities through the club store.
The Blues have answered overwhelming fan demand by reissuing one of Fratton Park’s most cherished strips – the iconic home shirt from a campaign that saw Portsmouth edge tantalizingly close to an FA Cup final appearance through two thrilling last-four clashes with Liverpool.
The coveted jersey is now on sale in restricted numbers via the Pompey Store, carrying official licensing from original kit supplier Influence.
Supporters can also get their hands on the accompanying Influence-era track jacket, which made a recent public appearance when club icon Alan Knight donned it during this summer’s announcement of his Freedom of the City of Portsmouth honour at the Fratton Park charity all-stars fixture.
The jacket boasts authentic early 1990s construction using heavyweight shell fabric, complete with full club badge embroidery and period-correct retro touches that capture the essence of that pivotal era in Portsmouth’s story.
This marks the first occasion both garments have been commercially available since that memorable 1992 campaign, with restricted stock levels both online and in the physical store.
The club warns supporters not to delay, emphasising that once current stock sells out, there will be no further opportunity to secure these pieces of Portsmouth FC history.
