Police in Southampton are appealing for help to identify a man following an assault at a Bedford Place shop on 25 May, where a victim in his twenties suffered head injuries after being punched.

The incident occurred at 8:45pm when police were called to reports of an assault at a retail premises in Bedford Place. A man in his twenties was punched during the altercation, resulting in injuries to his head.
Detectives have now released an image of a man they wish to identify and interview in connection with their investigation. The suspect is described as a white male, thought to be aged between 25 and 30 years old, who was dressed entirely in black clothing at the time of the incident.
Hampshire police believe the man pictured may be able to assist with their ongoing investigation and are urging him to come forward. They are also appealing for anyone who recognises the individual or knows his identity to contact them.
