University of Portsmouth will host a free Industry and Engineering Open Laboratory Day on Tuesday 17th June, offering guided tours of engineering facilities and showcasing research collaborations between education, industry, and local communities.
The event runs from 10.00am to 2.00pm at the Anglesea Building on Anglesea Road, Portsmouth (PO3 1DJ), providing visitors with the chance to explore cutting-edge engineering facilities through guided tours.
Attendees will discover pioneering research projects and learn how the university’s laboratories create practical solutions whilst inspiring the next generation of students. The day will also highlight opportunities for businesses to collaborate with the university and showcase exciting joint ventures between academia and industry.
A special presentation will run from 12.00pm to 1.00pm in room Anglesea 2.06, detailing partnership opportunities and current collaborative projects.
Registration opens at 9.30am, with tours commencing at 10.00am sharp. Visitors should collect their name badges and information booklets about the laboratory facilities upon arrival.
