The A27 Havant Bypass will shut for five consecutive nights next week as resurfacing works begin on the eastbound carriageway, starting Monday, June 23, with closures running from 8pm to 6am each night.
The overnight closures will affect the eastbound carriageway between the A3M junction and the A3023/Langstone junction, with the slip road from the A3M to the A27 also included in the closure.
Motorists will need to follow a diversion route through Havant and Bedhampton, travelling via B2177 Bedhampton Road, then B2149 New Road, before continuing onto Park Road North to reconnect with the A27.
Final departure set for Falklands destroyer HMS Bristol from Portsmouth
The essential maintenance work is scheduled to run for five consecutive nights to ensure the carriageway improvements are completed efficiently whilst minimising disruption to regular traffic flow.
