Pompey Women Begin WSL2 Campaign Against Durham at Home

Portsmouth Women will commence their second season in the newly-branded Barclays WSL2 with a home fixture against Durham, looking to improve upon their encouraging first campaign in women’s football’s second division.

With early bird season ticket offers ending in just seven days, supporters are urged to purchase their season cards now.

Season ticket holders will gain entry to all Pompey Women home matches, including four fixtures at Fratton Park and seven at Westleigh Park.

Jay Sadler’s squad will launch their new campaign at Westleigh Park on Sunday, September 7, welcoming Durham for the season opener.

The following weekend sees Portsmouth travel away for their opening road fixture against Bristol City.

The eagerly-awaited Hampshire derby takes place on Sunday, October 12 at Fratton Park, with the reverse fixture arranged for Sunday, January 11.

This season will see Fratton Park stage four Pompey Women matches, with Sheffield United, Southampton, Sunderland, and Nottingham Forest all visiting the famous PO4 ground.

Portsmouth will conclude their campaign with an away match against Crystal Palace, though the exact date and venue remain to be determined.
