Alderman Keith Gill, who ‘loved serving his community’, died peacefully at the Rowans Hospice on 20th May. The dedicated former Gosport Borough councillor had previously served the local community for fifteen years across two different political parties.
Mr Gill represented residents as a Gosport Borough Council member for a total of fifteen years. He initially served with the Liberal Democrats between 1999 and 2010, before later joining the Conservative party from 2012 to 2016.
The alderman’s commitment to public service and dedication to his constituents was evident throughout his lengthy tenure in local government, spanning over a decade of community representation across different political affiliations.
