Hampshire police have found a 77-year-old woman from Hedge End who went missing yesterday morning after launching a public appeal for information about her whereabouts.
Nadine Newsome had not been seen since Monday morning (9 June), leading officers to express concern for her wellbeing and issue an urgent appeal to the public.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary confirmed Ms Newsome had been located and expressed gratitude to members of the public who assisted with the search effort.
A force spokesman said: “We issued an appeal earlier today seeking information to help locate Nadine Newsome who was last spotted in Hedge End. We are delighted to confirm she has now been found. We appreciate everyone who shared our appeal.”
