Police are seeking witnesses and footage after a burglary at a Lenten Street property in Alton between Friday 22 August and Sunday 24 August, where entry was forced through a smashed window.
The break-in happened at a residence on Lenten Street sometime from Friday morning, 22 August, through to Sunday afternoon, 24 August.
Burglars gained access to the property by forcing entry and breaking a glass window.
Officers are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the break-in or observed suspicious behaviour in the vicinity during this period.
Police are particularly interested in hearing from residents who may have captured footage on doorbell cameras, CCTV systems, mobile phones, or dash cameras. They also want to hear from anyone who knows of individuals attempting to sell jewellery or antiques recently.
Additionally, police would like to speak with anyone who has recently been approached by someone offering tree surgery services at their door, and whether they have any footage or photographs of this person.
