Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Portsmouth which claimed the life of a 17-year-old motorcyclist from Southampton on Thursday evening. The crash occurred on James Callaghan Drive.
Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 11pm on 4 July following reports of a collision between a yellow Kawasaki motorcycle and a grey Vauxhall Insignia.
The teenage rider was tragically pronounced dead at the scene despite emergency response efforts.
Hampshire Constabulary is conducting thorough investigations into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash and is urging members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist their enquiries.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have been travelling on the road at the time of the incident or witnessed either vehicle in the moments leading up to the collision.
Investigators are also requesting any available dashcam footage or CCTV recordings that may have captured the incident or the vehicles involved.
