Totton shoplifting: CCTV appeal over Asda theft of clothes and toy

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman they want to trace after clothing and a soft toy were reportedly stolen from Asda in Totton on Wednesday 11 June. Officers are asking the public for help to identify them.

The incident took place between 1pm and 1.25pm at the Maynard Road supermarket. Both suspects were seen with a child and arrived in a black Ford Ranger.

Man officers wish to trace

  • White, in his 40s
  • About 5 ft 11 in tall
  • Stocky build
  • Travelling in a black Ford Ranger with a child

Woman officers wish to trace

  • White, in her 40s
  • About 5 ft 4 in tall
  • Average to large build
  • Bleached-blonde hair
  • Driving a black Ford Ranger with a child

Anyone who recognises the pair, witnessed the theft, or has relevant CCTV, mobile, dash-cam or doorbell footage is urged to contact police on 101 or report online at the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident 44250256151.
