Hampshire Police have issued a Totton shoplifting CCTV image as they investigate a theft worth over £400 from a local supermarket. Officers are asking the public to help identify a man captured on camera during the incident at Morrisons on Spruce Drive.
The theft took place between 8.20am and 9.40am on Friday, 17 October, when an individual left the store with £409 worth of goods without paying. The stolen items included 45 tubs of chocolates, two packs of soft drinks, and a toy.
Detectives believe the man shown in the Totton shoplifting CCTV footage holds vital information about the theft. Anyone who recognises him or knows his identity is urged to contact Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary immediately.
Investigators are also appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed suspicious activity. Those with CCTV footage, mobile phone recordings, or dash cam video from the vicinity are encouraged to come forward.
