A female cyclist suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car on Bagmore Lane in Herriard this morning, with police now appealing for witnesses as the driver failed to stop.
Officers were contacted at 11.25am yesterday (12th June) following reports of a collision on Bagmore Lane, situated between Berrydown Lane and Bell Lane.

The incident involved a female cyclist in her forties and a motor vehicle, however the motorist left the scene without stopping.
The woman sustained a severe leg injury as a result of the collision.
