Police have released an E-fit image as part of an investigation into a sexual offence in Andover, seeking to identify a man witnessed performing an inappropriate act on East Street in April.
The incident took place on East Street between 4:30pm and 5:30pm on Thursday, 17th April, when an unknown male was allegedly seen carrying out a sexual act over his clothing.
During the same incident, the suspect reportedly whistled at a passing teenage girl to attract her attention.
Suspect Description
Police are seeking to trace a man described as:
- White male
- Approximately 40 years of age
- Short in stature with greying hair
- Wearing a grey coat featuring reflective detailing (potentially a reflective grey stripe) and grey tracksuit bottoms
Appeal for Information
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary believe the individual shown in the E-fit can assist with their enquiries and are urging him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

Officers are also appealing for witnesses who may have observed a man matching this description in the vicinity during the timeframe of the alleged offence.
