Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist suffered serious leg injuries when his bike left the carriageway on the B3399 near Brook Road yesterday evening.
Officers were called shortly before 10pm on Tuesday (11 June) following reports of a single-vehicle collision involving a black motorcycle.
The rider, a man in his twenties from Freshwater, remains in hospital receiving treatment for serious leg injuries sustained in the incident.
Police are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the motorcyclist in the moments before the crash occurred.
Officers are particularly interested in hearing from motorists who may have relevant dash cam footage of the incident or the lead-up to it.
