Police are seeking witnesses and information after three teenagers allegedly shot a pigeon with an air rifle at Jubilee Field Recreation Ground in Sway on Sunday evening between 6:58pm and 7:13pm on 15 June.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has issued an appeal following the reported incident involving the shooting of the bird.
Officers have provided a description of one individual believed to be involved in the incident:
- White male
- Approximately 13 to 14 years of age
- Short blonde hair
- Wearing a brightly coloured shirt and camouflage-pattern shorts
Police are keen to speak with anyone who was present in the vicinity during the time of the alleged incident. Witnesses who may have observed the shooting or anyone with information regarding the identity of those involved are urged to come forward.
