Police appeal after £20k bike theft in Fordingbridge

Police are seeking witnesses following a burglary in Fordingbridge where four high-value bicycles worth over £20,000 were stolen from a garage between Friday night and Saturday morning.

Officers are appealing for witnesses, information and footage after a break-in at a property in Godshill Wood, Fordingbridge.

The incident took place between 11pm on Friday 22nd August and 8am on Saturday 23rd August, when thieves forced entry to a garage and made off with four bicycles valued at more than £20,000.

The stolen bicycles are described as:

  • Santa Cruz Nomad
  • Merida Reacto
  • Santa Cruz Blur
  • Santa Cruz Bronson

Police are asking anyone who was in the vicinity during the timeframe mentioned and may have witnessed anything suspicious to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 44250381747.

Authorities are also keen to hear from anyone who has footage of the incident, including CCTV, dash cam, mobile phone or doorbell camera recordings, or who may have spotted the described bicycles since the theft occurred.
