Stephen Brassel, 72, has been found safe after going missing from Kingston Road, Portsmouth. Police launched an appeal after he was last seen on Tuesday evening, with concerns growing for his welfare.
Hampshire Constabulary confirmed the pensioner has now been located following their public appeal for information. Mr Brassel was last spotted at 5pm on Tuesday, 17th June on Kingston Road in Portsmouth.
Officers had expressed growing concern for the 72-year-old’s wellbeing when he failed to return home. The force issued an appeal to the public seeking assistance in tracing his whereabouts.
Police have now thanked members of the public who came forward with information that helped locate the missing pensioner. No further details about the circumstances of how he was found have been released.
