A 44-year-old Portsmouth man has been charged following an investigation into perfume thefts worth over £10,000 from a local Boots store.
James Davies, of Milton Road, Portsmouth, faces three charges relating to alleged thefts at the Boots store in Ocean Retail Park.
The charges include:
- Theft of £4,835 worth of perfume on 27th March this year
- Theft of £3,744 worth of perfume on 25th February this year
- Theft of £1,775 worth of perfume on 27th January this year
Davies has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 18th July).
All three alleged thefts occurred at the same Boots location in Ocean Retail Park, with the total value of stolen perfume exceeding £10,000.
