A man has been charged with burglary after breaking into a Gosport home, searching rooms, and speaking with the occupants before leaving the property on Saturday morning.
Wayne Anderson Curtis, 40, forced entry into a house on Sydney Road, Gosport, on Saturday morning (7 June) where he went through several rooms before engaging in conversation with the residents, which prompted his departure.
Police have confirmed that nobody was injured during the incident.
Curtis, of Percy Road in Gosport, was later arrested and charged with two counts of burglary. He was remanded in custody to appear before Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Tuesday, 10 June).
