Gosport Man Charged with Multiple Burglaries and Passport Theft

A 38-year-old Gosport man has been charged with multiple burglaries and theft offences, including stealing passports and bank cards, following incidents in May and June. He appears in court today.

Adam George Spittle, of Magennis Close, faces five separate charges following an investigation conducted by local police officers.

The charges stem from incidents that occurred during May and June. Spittle’s initial charge concerns a break-in at Pafford Close on 24th May, alongside an additional charge for burglarising a shed on Grange Lane the same date.

Further charges include stealing passports from a motor vehicle on Elson Road on Tuesday, 3rd June, interfering with a vehicle on the same street that day, and possession of stolen bank cards.

Gosport Police announced on Facebook: “He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Portsmouth Magistrates Court today (June 5).”
