Police have issued an e-fit image following a suspicious incident in Whiteley. A woman in her 20s was approached multiple times by an unknown man who made inappropriate sexualised remarks on Wednesday, 3 December.
The incident occurred between 3.05pm and 3.30pm along a footpath connecting Whiteley Way and Bluebell Way. The victim was repeatedly approached by the man, who made sexualised comments on two separate occasions during the encounter.
The woman fled the scene, with the suspect following her direction. No physical harm came to the victim during the e-fit image Whiteley incident.
Hampshire Police have described the man they wish to speak with as Asian or dark-skinned, appearing to be in his 30s, approximately 5ft 6ins tall with a slim build. He had short dark hair and stubble, and was wearing a khaki gilet over a hoodie, tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
Authorities are appealing for anyone who recognises the individual in the e-fit image to come forward immediately.
Sergeant Dean Scott from Winchester Greater’s Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “This was an alarming incident and officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries since it was reported to us. We are now in a position to release this image. We want anyone who thinks they know who this man is to get in touch.”

Please speak to us if you have concerns.”
