Police have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to speak to following an attempted theft and public order incident at a Hedge End pet shop on Sunday 13 April.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary are seeking to identify a man in connection with an incident at Pets At Home on Tollbar Way, Hedge End.
The incident occurred between 11:55am and 12:05pm when an unknown individual allegedly entered the store and attempted to steal a large bag of dog food.
When staff members challenged the man, he reportedly became verbally abusive towards them.
Officers believe the individual shown in the CCTV image can assist with their enquiries and are urging him – or anyone who recognises him – to come forward.
Authorities are also appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident or noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time.
