Police have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to speak with regarding a sexual assault in Botley. A woman in her forties was inappropriately touched on Sunday evening.
The incident occurred between 6:45pm and 6:55pm on Sunday, 8th June, when the victim reported being inappropriately touched over her clothing by an unknown male at the junction of Holmesland Lane and Winchester Street.
Officers are seeking to identify a man described as:
- White male
- Approximately 18-19 years of age
- Medium build
- Blonde hair
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary believe the individual captured in the CCTV image could assist with their enquiries and are urging him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.
Investigators are also appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity at the time of the incident to contact them, particularly those with potential evidence including:
- Dash cam footage
- Mobile phone recordings
- Doorbell camera footage
